Nothing for long...he enjoys channel surfing more then anything.

Ranch and lots of it.

Mushrooms

Guinness.....although he wants to order expensive Scotch

Oops...I don't remember

Pizza King sub

9. What would the Husband eat every day if he could?
Butterscotch flavored anything....wasabi flavored anything...Thai food....Pizza King pizza and subs

Hummm....his best friends keep moving away....Maybe Josh, or Matt....maybe me I dunno

Scottish/French Canadian (there is a little Indian I think somewhere...)

Writing music, playing music.....working on music with Josh Garrels...

On Saturday night I got to attend the Heartland Truly Moving Pictures Gala....the Oscars of the Midwest. :) Ok...maybe not that big..but it is the award ceremony for the Heartland Film Festival...all kinds of amazing directors, producers and other filmmakers attend...all people who have a passion to make film that moves people and that matters.

This picture is one of my favorites....and there IS a story behind it....I had asked my sister (who lives in LA and sees celebrities ALL the freaking time) to convince a celebrity to take an ugly picture with her....that is ALL I wanted for my birthday (which was back in June)....Rachel, my sister, failed...so I had to show her how you do it! This is me with Carlos Diaz who is one of the hosts or corespondents on the TV show EXTRA. The sad thing is that my sister probably has NO idea who this is because she does not delight in trashy celeb news as I do.



This is me with actress Rachel Seiferth who gave a beautiful performance in the film HENRY POOLE IS HERE. If you haven't seen this film GO NOW...or when it is released on video. She actually grew up here in Indianapolis...and while chatting we discovered that she was represented by the same agency I worked for in LA.....and she is just as precious as her character in that film by the way.



One of my favorite people in the world...Lisa who works with Heartland....she and I rocked the black dress.

A lot of things in life do not make sense to me. I have come to the conclusion that, THAT is alright. Know-It-Alls are annoying anyway right?

My dilemma is a result of my child (because what else is going on in my life anyway?.) Soooo...Kian is a sick sick sicky-poo baby. Yeah...he is "that" child that always has a nasty runny nose....he is usually only well for about 3 weeks before the next sickness comes. Now, I know this is in part because I was a VERY sick child and in part because he goes to the gym daycare almost every day. He is only there for about 2 hours...but obviously germs don't care how long you chew on a certain contaminated toy to infest your body.

This is where I get confused. EVERYONE (seriously everyone I tell that Kian is sick a lot) will say to me...."Oh that's good his immune system is being built up...he won't be as sick in the future."

Ok...not to be Debbie Downer...BUT...where is everyone hearing this from??!!?! You know how I can very easily disprove your trite little saying? Because I get almost every cold from Kian.....actually I have gotten EVERY single one except for the scary diarrhea thing. Now not only am I really healthy...working out....taking my vitamins...eating veggies and fruits all day....I need to remind you that I was a VERY sick child....I always had some kind of upper respiratory infection or cold...or ear infection. So if that little sentence of false hope is correct then my immune system should be a beast and NOT allow me to be attacked with a cold every three weeks!!!

Although I am thankful that my friends and family would offer hope instead of despair. So keep lying to me....false hope is better then no hope right?
